Cyanobacteria Bloom covers Lake Okeechobee
A large Cyanobacteria bloom of blue-green algae has spread over Lake Okeechobee. It started beck in the spring and has really taken off under these weather conditions. There has been testing to see if it is a toxic strand, so far it appears not to be. Last test samples were taken Monday, the results will be in on Thursday. More here..
